915 SETUP TECH TIP
The forks in the 915 gearbox must be correctly aligned for the shifting to work properly.

First, install the alignment fixture (in green).
After the alignment fixture is installed, the shift rods must be locked into dead-center position in neutral.

Lock the shift rods using two detents in each hole. Tighten the plug lightly (approx 2 ft-lb)

Use two detents and no springs.
Once the shift rods are locked, the forks can be loosened and moved so that the shift sleeves are centered.

The shift sleeves must be centered between the two gears.

After the sleeves are centered torque the forks to spec.
The shift rail openings must be aligned.

Maintain a 2mm-3mm play between the shift rail tabs.
