Shipping Information and Recommendations
Gbox recommends the following companies for shipping transmission components:
BAX Global
BAX Global provides door-to-door domestic and international freight service. We currently use BAX Global for shipping complete transmissions to and from our shop in Boulder, CO.
FedEx
FedEx provides reliable next-day, and expedited international service for small parts and components.
Shipping Recommendations
Complete transmissions:
A transmission specific crate secured
to a standard palette is recommended for shipping a complete transmission. Gbox
can supply you with a high quality, reusable shipping crate for $100 USD plus
shipping. Transmissions may also be secured directly to a standard palette
without a crate. It is essential that the transmission be
drained of all fluid and shipped dry. We also highly recommend insuring
your gearbox for shipment; we will do the same on return. Please make sure that
the transmission is labeled with your name and return
address.
Complete transmissions will be returned dry. We will include all warranty and break-in documentation with the completed gearbox, as well as any worn or replaced parts that the customer has specified for return.
