G50 STEEL SYNCRO RING

Steel syncros improve the performance of the shifting assembly during hard driving conditions due to their thermal expansion properties. As the temperature rises, the steel gear and syncro combination expand at the same rate. The higher friction of the steel syncro slows the gear more quickly which makes for a quicker shift.

These synchros will work in all 5-speed G50 transaxles in 3rd through 5th gear, and in GT3, GT2 and Twin Turbos in 3rd through 6th gear. These syncros can also be used in the 993 6-speed gearbox.

Racing teams as well as street vehicles will benefit from these steel syncros.
